Nov 21-28, 2022: Thanksgiving in Orlando

We made it to Orlando about 24 hours before the kids which was good because we had time to setup camp, do a good cleaning inside, and get round one of groceries. They arrived in the middle of the night so day one was a chill out day. Tight quarters at this RV resort. Lots of full timers and small cabins.

Later that day we cleaned up and headed to Disney Springs for dinner and a show.

Disney’s Cirque Du Soleil show, Drawn to Life, did not disappoint!! It was spectacular!

The grandness of Disney can be found everywhere!

It was beautiful to be there and see the holiday decorations.

The next day was Thanksgiving! We cooked a big breakfast and dinner on the RV (with a little help from Fresh Market and Publix). Our day was spent eating, enjoying the pool and playing games.

Friday, as an early Christmas and Birthday present for Addie, we all went to Universal and Islands of Adventure.

Addie is big Harry Potter fan and has been asking to go for the past 5 years.

She smiled so much this day, I thought for sure her face was going to get stuck this way.

We did a VIP tour which gave us access to both parks. As part of our guided tour we got to skip all lines and go behind the scenes in a number of the rides.

Because of this we were able to do 12 rides in 5 hours. This included all the big roller coasters, all of which Addie did.

Butter beer was a big hit with all of us, especially the frozen butter beer.

It was such a memorable day!! Awesome family adventure!!

For their last day, we went to the SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium.

We love to look at sea creatures.

So fun!!

This adventure made us hungry so off to get some seafood we went!!

It was an great week. So fun to share our new way of life with the kids. Being in Orlando was an extra plus with so much cool stuff to do and warm weather to enjoy.
